Whether or not you believe the story is true, I bet it won't diminish the belly laughs you'll have while you read "Why are there monkeys?" I happen to believe Brooke who says it's all true, and I deeply love the entire book. I already laughed just reading the 'disclaimer' in the front - something I normally don't even bother with, but I'm glad this one caught my eye. The only downside to this book is that I'm left wishing for another volume or two or three to continue with... ;-) Instead I'll definitely re-read this precious little book a few times! And I'll be buying extra copies as a perfect gift for various friends. I hope this book will become a giant best-seller; the world will likely be a better place when that happens.
